Racial abuse probe launched by Cheshire Police following report of incident in Wilmslow

Cheshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a report of racial abuse in Wilmslow. The incident is said to have happened at around 9.20pm on Saturday, June 8.

Officers were called out to the Green Lane area of Wilmslow after the incident was reported. Cheshire Police are investigating and enquiries are underway.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “At around 9.20pm on Saturday 8 June, officers were called to a report of racial abuse in the Green Lane area of Wilmslow. Enquiries are underway and pending further investigation.

“Anyone who has information, CCTV or dash cam footage is asked to contact Cheshire Constabulary online https://www.cheshire.police.uk/tell-us or via 101 quoting IML 1296409.”
