A restaurant that quickly became the highest-rated in Cheshire has closed its doors for good. The Rio Brazilian Steakhouse in Warrington, which was soon listed as the top eatery in the county on review aggregator site Tripadvisor after opening in November 2022, made the shock announcement this morning.
However, the premises won’t be shut for long as a new steakhouse restaurant will be opening following a revamp of the venue.
In a statement on its Facebook page, Rio Brazilian Steakhouse – Warrington states: “Our time in Warrington has come to an end as Rio moves onto its next chapter. From today we’ve handed this wonderful venue over to our friends at Jardim Rodizio Grill who will transform the space into their own.
“We want to thank all of the guests who have joined us over the past three years and we wish Jardim the best of luck on their newest site. Any Rio gift vouchers will still be valid at any of our other locations, your nearest Rio is Chester – all bookings will be transferred to Jardim.”
