Two Warrington attractions and venues have been shortlisted for the Visit Cheshire Tourism Awards 2025/26, which celebrate the best in the region’s £3.9 billion visitor economy across 18 categories.
The Parr’s Bank Hotel is among the finalists, competing in the Small Serviced Accommodation of the Year category.
Walton Hall and Gardens is also a triple finalist, nominated for Large Visitor Attraction of the Year, Wedding Venue of the Year, and Best Event or Festival for the Daresbury Festival.
Jamie Christon, chair of Marketing Cheshire, said: “Tourism in Cheshire and Warrington is truly world-class, supporting 38,000 jobs and welcoming over 56 million visitors each year.
“It’s fantastic to see such a bumper crop of entries once again, showcasing the trailblazing businesses and inspirational individuals driving the region’s success.
“The judges have an unenviable task this year – the standard has been exceptional.”
The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Walton Hall and Gardens.
Winners in selected categories will go on to represent Cheshire and Warrington at the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence.
Warrington’s Parr’s Bank Hotel will compete against other standout venues including Oddfellows Chester, Stone Villa Chester, The Bear’s Paw in Warmingham, and The Chester Townhouse.
In the Large Visitor Attraction of the Year category, Walton Hall and Gardens is up against BeWILDerwood Cheshire, Chester Zoo, Dunham Massey, and Storyhouse Chester.
Its nomination in the Best Event or Festival category is for the Daresbury Festival, delivered in partnership with Walton Live.

The awards, organised by Marketing Cheshire, highlight excellence across the region’s visitor economy, from attractions and events to hospitality and accommodation.
