The Cheshire Steam Fair is coming to Daresbury – here are the details

Established more than 30 years ago, it is one of the main steam events in Cheshire.

And this year, there will be train rides provided by Warrington and District Model Engineers Society.

The ‘pay as you ride’ attractions will include models of the Flying Scotsman, Duchess of Abercorn, and many more model steam and diesel locomotives.

The event is taking place in Daresbury just off Chester Road on July 12 and 13.

Performing in the main arena will be StuntWorld Stunt Show – they will be performing a mix of motorcycle stunts, quad stunts, car two-wheel driving and roll over quad stunts. 

There will also be a tractor pulling area, a high-octane exciting motorsport showcasing driving skills, horsepower and sheer determination as modified tractors max out their engines to achieve their goal.

Also performing throughout the weekend will be Ken Fox and his Team in the Wall of Death.

A full programme of top steam fair attractions including: Steam Engines, Classic Cars, Vintage Tractors, Classic Motorcycles, Fairground Organs, Miniature Steam Engines, Stationary Engines and Vintage Commercials.

The event will also include Trade Stands, Autojumble, Craft and Fine Food Marquee, Old Time and Modern Funfair, Non-stop Arena Entertainment, Catering & Licensed Bar.
