Care home fills with love and happiness on Valentine’s Day

Westvale House Care Home in Warrington was filled with flowers, cards, and sweets in honour of St Valentine’s Day, with residents getting involved in making heart-shaped gifts for loved ones and enjoying an Afternoon tea.

Sarah, general manager at Westvale House, said: “We’ve all had a lovely day making gifts for each other and for our loved ones.

“Lots of our residents were able to see their loved ones either in person.

“We’ve had a whole range of treats and Valentine’s themed Afternoon tea and we have enjoyed every moment of it!”

Aimee, Activity Co Ordinator at Westvale House, said: “It was a lovely day.

“It was wonderful to see everyone go to so much effort to get involved with the day’s festivities.

“We really enjoyed making heart-shaped Gifts for loved ones and the Afternoon Tea was a great Hit with our residents and their families.”
