Madness and Ronan Keating announced for Forest Live 2027 at Delamere

The music series by Forestry England returns in 2027, with concerts set to take place in Delamere Forest.

Both artists will appear at Delamere Forest in Cheshire, with Ronan Keating performing on Wednesday, June 1, and Madness headlining on Saturday, June 19.

Taking to the stage as part of his Just Getting Started World Tour, Ronan will be joined by British pop group Blue, with Australian trio Germein Sisters.

Ronan said: “I’ve been incredibly lucky to have spent more than three decades doing what I love.

“I’ve travelled the world, made records I’m enormously proud of and, most importantly, had audiences singing those songs back to me night after night.

“The reason I’ve called this tour Just Getting Started is because I genuinely feel I’m entering a new chapter.

“I understand myself, my music and what I want to say more clearly than ever before, and I want to celebrate these songs with audiences in a way that feels fresh.

“I feel creatively energised, deeply grateful and more connected to what I do than ever, and I can’t wait to share that with people around the world.”

With a career spanning 30 years and more than 45 million records sold, Ronan has had chart success both as a member of Boyzone and as a solo artist.

His debut solo album Ronan went straight to number one in the UK, achieving four-times platinum status and spending 63 weeks on the charts.

He also holds a Guinness World Record for 30 consecutive UK Top 10 singles, surpassing Elvis Presley.

Blue, also marking more than 25 years in the industry, will join Ronan for the evening.

Madness, the Camden ska icons, known for hits such as Baggy Trousers, House of Fun, and Our House, will tour all four Forest Live venues: Delamere, High Lodge in Thetford, Cannock Chase, and Westonbirt Arboretum.

Saturday, June 19 will see them perform at Delamere, followed by Thetford on June 20, Cannock Chase on June 26, and Westonbirt on June 27.

Last year, the band released Hit Parade to mark 45 years of their top singles over the last 45 years.

The band said: “From the early days to the latest tracks… we’ve packed up the lot and brought them all together in Hit Parade.

“It’s a proper nutty collection of our biggest and best.

“Press play, turn it up, and enjoy the ride.”

Supporting Madness will be indie-pop favourites Scouting For Girls, known for radio staples such as She’s So Lovely and Heartbeat.

Forest Live is organised by Forestry England in partnership with live events company Cuffe & Taylor.

The concert series raises funds to support Forestry England’s management of 1,500 woods and forests across the country.

Proceeds are used for conservation projects and ongoing tree planting – more than seven million trees are planted each year.

Forest Live has welcomed more than 2.5 million attendees in its 25-year history, with everyone in England living within an hour’s drive of at least one of the nation’s forests.

Tickets for Madness, Ronan Keating, and other Forest Live shows will go on general sale at 10am on Friday, September 25 via www.forestlive.com.

Fans can sign up for information, announcements, and exclusive pre-sale access on the Forest Live website.
