Fiona Bennett added: “I used to work behind the bar at the Bierkeller. We’d go to Chaplins, Smiths or The World after our shift. They were the days.”
Vicky Booth said they would start in Time Square and end up in Mr Smith’s most Friday/Saturday nights and loved it
Paul Shuker said: “Evergreens which then became Clubhouse was our club of choice until we managed to get in Mr Smith’s. We usually filled up with drinks in Postern Gate before Smith’s. Great nights.”
Emma Mccann says she used to work at Eddisons and Breeze Bar and also did soul nights at Mr Smith’s. She added: “Town was ace back in the 90s. I used to go out every weekend with the girls and have a dance with Stan the Man!”
Carri Anne said: “Jams was a good nightspot as well as Friars Court.”
