It will open this spring
Pret-a-Manger’s first ever UK drive-through will open in Cheshire this spring. Signs and flyers have gone up advertising the opening at the former Starbucks café at Oakwood Gate services in Birchwood on the outskirts of Warrington.
The Starbucks branch permanently closed its doors earlier this month, with the new Pret now in development and due to open in early May. It marks a first for the chain, who specialise in fresh rather than fast food, and is expected to be popular with the scores of offices in the area.
And it is set to be the first of many as Pret CEO Pano Christou told the Sunday Times in November that the brand plans to expand with more outlets at motorway services and airports, reports the MEN.
